Rachel Murphy expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that Toto (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. According to Rachel , a groomer allegedly taped Toto r's mouth shut after being bitten, resulting in the dog being bloody and distressed.
Rachel said, "My pup was clearly in distress. What I originally thought was an actual muzzle, turned out to actually be tape. Toto r's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.
Wow! My Dog is a mobile pet salon that employed the groomer who was responsible for these actions.
Rachel took Toto right away to the doctor for emergency treatment. In joining other individuals who have also made similar claims, he has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse. San Mateo’s office launched an investigation against the company due to possible animal cruelty.
Rachel described the injuries he observed, stating, "I noticed wounds near the joints, around the neck, and in the genital area. The cuts were severe enough to cause bleeding."
Marianna De las Vegas, a customer of Wow! My Dog, posted a review on Yelp, detailing how his pets were returned to him injured or unwell. One customer posted a Snapchat clip animal abuse blog of a dog who appeared to be in distress, alleging that the groomer forced a napkin down its ear.

Wow! My Dog wants its customers to understand what their groomer said to him. After all, they trusted this person with the care of their animals. Rachel revealed, "Juliann informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He mentioned that he used the same method for his own dogs.
Gate News called Wow! My Dog and she answered, but then handed the phone over to another woman who told Gate News that they were looking into the allegations. When asked about Wow! My Dog, the woman quickly stated that it is a separate entity. Then she abruptly ended her call.
